Title: An Unscripted Look at Scripting Languages

Abstract: As computers have become more powerful, scripting languages have become more and more mainstream, applied to an ever wider set of tasks. This talk will discuss the evolution of the main scripting languages and comment on some of their strengths and weaknesses.
