Thimble Islands, at Stony Creek, CT
We almost got lost on 146. But the wonderful and peaceful sunset sight made it worthwhile.

Global Choral Festival, at Paul Mellon Arts Center, Wallingford, CT
Bravo! Bravo! What a wonderful night! How amazing to be filled with all these beautiful music pieces. Thanks to all members of Wallingford Symphony Orchestra, Connecticut-Yale Chinese Chorus, and Greater Meriden Community Chorus. Thank you for making this success together.
The most touch piece is Va Pensiero (Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves) in Nabucco, by Giuseppe Verdi. I should have sung this song 8 years ago, when I was a member of my college choir. But I missed that performance on stage with my friends. Thereafter, I felt sad each time I sang this song, until tonight, I finally have the chance to sing it on stage. Really really touching, I could not hold my tears.
Here is a link you can listen to this music... though it is not from tonight's show. :)

Title: My Weekend
Due to the storm, we had to cancel our trip to Hartford. Piles of snow in the backyard even stopped us from Japanese cuisine in Hamden. Finally, we went to Edgerton Park for some pictures, did some reading in the sunny bedroom with music, went to Modern Apizza for bruschetta and pizza with crabmeat in white sauce - You never know what would happen next, but we enjoy whatever we meet.
