Open Outlook

Select Tools -> E-mail Accounts…

 

 

Select View or change existing  e-mail accounts - > Next

 

 

Select Change…

 

 

Select More Settings…

 

 

Select Advanced tab

 

 

Check off This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)

 

OK

Next

Finish

 

Outlook will now use an encrypted connection when connected to the mail server.
