Diana Resasco's research interests include scientific and parallel computation,
and numerical solution of partial differential equations, in particular
the numerical solution of reaction-diffusion systems.
She is currently working on the Virtual Cell project in collaboration
with the University ofConnecticut Health Center; a computer simulation
of cell biological processes which involves the numerical solution of
large systems of differential-algebraic equations with interior interfaces.
