Note: You are looking at a static copy of the former PineWiki site, used for class notes by James Aspnes from 2003 to 2012. Many mathematical formulas are broken, and there are likely to be other bugs as well. These will most likely not be fixed. You may be able to find more up-to-date versions of some of these notes at http://www.cs.yale.edu/homes/aspnes/#classes.

This is the web page for CS 202: Mathematical Tools for Computer Science for the Fall 2010 semester. Here you can find pointers to various resources for students taking the course. You should check this page periodically for new announcements.

Final Review Session: Thursday (Dec 9) 7-11PM @AKW 200.

/Assignments/HW08/Solutions are available.

I am considering arranging a review session for the final. If you have attended my midterm final, you know what to expect: pretty much informal and hand-wavy at best, neither informative nor useful. In case you still need the session after my previous disclaimer, please complete this survey form by Sunday 7PM, indicating your preferred time slot. Please leave your name as well. I will post the final time & venue for the review session after Sunday. Thanks a lot :) Reynard.

Matt: I have to move my office hours to the morning tomorrow.
Cameron: I have to move my office hours earlier on Wednesday night. I'll be in the Zoo from 6:00-9:00.
Graded HW8's are available outside AKW 401.

A clarification has been added to /Assignments/HW09.
